George S. Griffiths
George Griffiths is the President/Owner of the Executive Search Firm of Sanford Rose Associates® – Louisville East. The firm conducts custom searches for managerial and executive positions for select client companies within the Specialty Chemicals, Manufacturing & Energy markets. George has over ten years of executive search experience, consulting with clients and has successfully placed individual contributors, managers, Directors, Vice Presidents and C-Level positions.
George has been a Distinguished Achiever within the worldwide Sanford Rose Associates® Executive Search System and is a two-time nominee for an INCredible Award, sponsored by Greater Louisville Inc., the Metro Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Sanford Rose Associates® - Louisville East is a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
Prior to starting the firm in 2001, George was with a major chemical company for twenty-five years, holding assignments in Sales, Research & Development and Customer Order Management. He is a member of the Louisville Societies for Coatings Technology, and serves on the Board of the Canaan Community Development Corporation, and is a former member of the Owners’ Board of Sanford Rose Associates International.
George received a BS Degree in Marketing from the University of New Haven, CT and has completed graduate work at Xavier University, Cincinnati OH.
Born in Kingston Jamaica, and now a naturalized US citizen, George is married to Vivianne, and has two grown children. His main hobbies include golf, flying, soccer, and table tennis.
