History and Legacy
Founded in 1959, Sanford Rose Associates® (SRA) started as a placement firm specializing in engineers and other professionals in the space and defense programs. As the business grew, the founder, Sanford Rose, realized that he needed entrepreneurial leaders who had a passion for quality and a deep commitment to client service to manage additional offices. At this pivotal juncture, he felt that partnering with franchise owners represented a better fit with his vision rather than hiring employees. Therefore, in 1970 he began franchising the Sanford Rose Associates brand.
Over the last 48 years, the network has grown and expanded to over 65 offices worldwide. With offices in North America, Asia and Europe, Owners are able to partner within the system to assist clients in all their hiring needs. The experience of office Owners in their respective industry (typically over 20 years), two-thirds of Owners being Certified Personnel Consultants (CPC), and use of Dimensional Search®, a proprietary process, are indicators of SRA's commitment to quality.
