Pat Harley


  Managing Partner

Jeff Jones is Managing Partner of Sanford Rose Associates - Fort Lauderdale, a human resources consulting firm, specializing in operations and management. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant, Executive Recruiter, Diversity Trainer, and Alternative Dispute Mediator, certified by the Florida Supreme Court. He has 28 years of operational experience in the airline industry, U.S. Military, and private sector. He served 16 years in key senior leadership roles at American Airlines and Alaska Airlines, with 26 years total Military service.

 

His military career includes 82nd Airborne Division and Special Operations Aviation assignments, two Middle East Deployments and East Asia Aerial Intelligence Operations. Serving 11 years in the Oklahoma Army National Guard, he commanded the State Aviation Group for four years. He is a Senior Army Aviator and test pilot, with commercial ratings in both rotary and fixed-wing, multi-engine aircraft.

 

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Jeff is a 1980 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.  He earned an MBA in Organizational Behavior, from the University of Phoenix in 2001.

 Senior Executive Search Consultant

Pete Norton is Senior Executive Search Consultant for Sanford Rose Associates - Fort Lauderdale, an international executive search firm, specializing in Operations and Management.  He is a Certified Personnel Consultant, recognized by the National Association of Personnel Services.  Pete has over 30 years of General Management, Sales & Marketing, and Operational Management experience with ExxonMobil Chemical and Bostik, Inc. (formally Bostik Findley Adhesives) in both the US and Europe. His past assignments include Executive Team membership, business team management, new product and new business development, executive global account management, turnarounds, start-ups, Total Quality Management and ISO-9000 qualifications and audits.

 

A leader and advocate for the highest professional standards and ethics in executive search, Pete is an active member of the National Association of Personnel Consultants (NAPS), Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), and is involved with the Adhesives and Sealants Council (ASC).

 

Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from VMI - Virginia Military Institute and has done graduate MBA work at the University of Akron.  He served with in the US Army Air Defense Artillery, as Battery Commander.  He enjoys physical conditioning, gardening and collecting fine wines.  He and his wife, Chloe, have one adult son.  Back to top

Melissa Metz is Senior Executive Search Consultant and Certified Personnel Consultant recognized by the National Association of Personnel Services.  She is committed to building strong client partnerships to ensure the “right fit” for client requirements.  With over 12 years of Executive Search experience, she is an expert in filling critical positions in technology, operations and engineering.  She believes strongly in bringing integrity and quality into the search process.  Her professional career spans publicly traded companies such as Romac, International/Kforce, and specialty physician recruiting for the US Navy.  She also has over 8 years in Operations Management, as an Officer in the US Navy and at Callaway Golf.  Melissa is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.  Back to top


 Manager, Diversity Training and Dispute Mediation
Pat Harley is Manager, Diversity Training and Dispute Mediation. Her professional experience spans thirty-four years of Federal Government service, where her strong leadership skills as Operations Supervisor, Operations Officer, Branch Manager, and District Manager enhanced productivity of numerous offices in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas. She served as Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity (CREO) Regional Manager for 120 field offices in New York, New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgins Islands. As CREO Manager, Pat established and executed the Agency’s hiring goals, trained personnel, resolved cases through the EEO process, collaborated with various Government Agencies in joint conferencing, developed document guidelines, and provided mentorship.
 
Pat holds certifications as Florida Supreme Court Mediator, Alternative Dispute Resolutions from the New York Federal Executive Board and EEO Studies from Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.  Additionally, she is an accredited EEO Investigator certified by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. As member of the New York Regional Federal Executive Board’s Mediation team, she served on the regional exchange program to mediate numerous Human Resources issues for Government Agencies in Metropolitan New York and New Jersey. She also served in the mediation mentorship program for Law students attending State University of New York Law School.
 
Pat is a 1971 graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte, North Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French.
