Pete Norton, Owner, Sanford Rose Associates - Annapolis  Pete Norton
Pete Norton is President of Sanford Rose Associates-Annapolis, an executive search practice filling senior level openings within the Specialty Chemical and formulated products industry. Founded in 1959, the Sanford Rose Associates organization serves the needs of corporate and institutional clients from over sixty offices in North America, Europe and Asia.

Pete has over 30 years of general management, technical sales, marketing and customer service management in the petroleum, petrochemical, adhesives and laminated products industries. He has held senior management positions with multinational and privately held companies in North America and Europe.
 
After obtaining his engineering degree from Virginia Military Institute and doing MBA graduate studies at the University of Akron, Pete served as a Battery Commander of a Nike Hercules missile unit. He then joined Exxon working in Sales, Marketing and Operational Management positions for their industrial, retail and specialty chemical businesses. He later moved to Bostik Findley, a division of TotalFinaElf and worked in Sales Management, New Business Development and General Management.

Pete brings to Sanford Rose Associates intimate and unique knowledge of specialty chemical sales and use – having worked for both a leading supplier and a major consumer of performance chemical products. Additionally he has had experience with start-up businesses, turnaround operations, Quality Management, ISO 9002 and the development of highly customer focused business culture and work environments. Pete has full appreciation for the added value that results from finding people that make the difference for key position openings.

A new resident of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Pete is married and has one son. He enjoys gardening, physical fitness and collecting and enjoying fine wines. Back to top


  Eleni Mioduszewski, Executive Recruiter
Eleni Mioduszewski joined our Sanford Rose - Annapolis team in March 2004. Her niche is executive recruiting for our retained level and exclusive contingency searches for our Candidates' and Clients' in the Specialty Chemical and Formulated Products industries. Eleni has developed an in depth knowledge of the industry and the ability to identify and cultivate candidate's for these areas.

Eleni's business background includes Information Technology, Administration and Accounting with Marsh Affinity Group Services (a division of Marsh & McLennan). While at Marsh, Eleni was instrumental in the implementation and team training for new software applications to enhance the efficiency of their insurance operating system.

Business Process Improvement training is an area Eleni has been involved in extensively ---- her initiative and commitment to excellence were also recognized with her selection to receive a Quality Achievement Award Facilitating Departmental Relations within her Company's IT organization.

Eleni holds a B.S.in Business Administration from Towson University. She lives in the Annapolis area where she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the beautiful beaches on the Eastern Shores of our Chesapeake Bay. Back to top


 

Tamara Ewald, Executive Recruiter

We welcomed Tamara to our Sanford Rose Annapolis office in February 2006.
Her business background includes over 10 years of experience in recruiting and human resources. As a former Branch Manager at InfoCurrent, a nationally recognized search firm specializing in the placement of information managers, she consulted with law firms, corporations, non-profits and government agencies to identify and provide solutions for their personnel requirements.

Tamara also has over 20 years of industry experience in the field of library and records management. At the National Epilepsy Library she provided reference and research services on medical and related health topics.

Recognition for Tamara's recruiting results and sales achievements have been recognized by the Maryland Department of Labor as outstanding employer of the year in 2000 & 2001. As a member of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators Tamara received "Mentor of the Year" in 2004 for her work with the association.

Tamara holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maryland and is certified in employment law through the American Staffing Association. She also holds Associates degrees in Marketing and Business Management.

Tamara is a native to the Washington, DC area and enjoys volunteering, meditation and teaching Buddhist studies classes and spending time in retreat.  Back to top


 

  Tina Damron, Executive Recruiter

Tina brings to Sanford Rose over 15 years of management experience throughout her career in the insurance industry. Prior to moving to Maryland in 2004, Tina was a Manager of Product Administration for a service provider to an $11 billion variable annuity client. She is a goal oriented professional with over 20 years of progressive responsibilities, culminating in the management of all activities for three critical administrative units, Premium Processing, Cash Processing, and Commissions/Agency. She is skilled at maximizing the use of resources, motivating staff, and ensuring that standards for superior service are met. She contributed to long term and corporate objectives through her organizational influence within the business unit and across departments. She is able to establish and maintain a strong, supportive customer service oriented relationship with all customers. Her prior work experiences have been in highly customer service focused environments. She brings exceptional planning, organization, and time management skills to the organization.

Her career in recruitment began when she was responsible for managing the daily operations and recruitment for the Annapolis branch of the areas fastest growing administrative placement agency. There she was responsible for recruiting, interviewing, evaluating, and placing associates in temporary and temporary to permanent administrative positions.

Tina brings 20 years of business experience, and has attended numerous Continuing Education courses primarily in supervision, leadership, management, human resources and personnel issues, writing and communications, computer technology, and other business related courses and seminars.

Tina and her husband have enjoyed living on Kent Island for the past 2 years. She values spending time with her family, which includes 2 grown daughters, boating, physical fitness, and spending time at the beach.  Back to top
